Linda R. McFarland, LUTCF 727-863-6151

After graduating form the University of Florida, Linda McFarland spent many years as an educator in Miami-Dade and Pasco Counties.  She began her financial services career in 1987 and has been affiliated with Doug Brainard & Associates, Inc. for the past fifteen years.

In order to better serve her clients and realizing that knowledge in the changing financial industry is vital, Linda continues her education , both for her state insurance licenses and as a Registered Representative for American General Securities Incorporated.  She has attained her Life Underwriters Training Council Fellowship designation (LUTCF) and has been a member of the Florida Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (FAIFA) for many years.  She has been honored with National Quality and Sales Achievement Awards from FAIFA.

Linda considers herself a financial educator, and believes her role is to provide accurate information to her clients so that they can confidently make decisions to plan for their future.  She is currently an adjunct instructor for Pasco-Hernando Community College, teaching financial management classes.  Linda believes that every one - single, married, divorced, widowed, professional or retired - needs to know about key financial strategies that can help make the most of their money.  President of the Pasco Women In Networking group, Linda has lived since 1976 in Hudson, Florida with her husband Larry and numerous Arabian horses.
